NEW YORK (AP) _ Bill Cosby had a practical question Friday when a plaque on NBC’s ``Walk of Fame″ was dedicated to him on the floor of the ``NBC Experience″ store in Rockefeller Center.

``Are people going to walk on me?″ he asked. ``Do I have to pay money to scrape gum off me?

Cosby and two of his famous co-stars, Robert Culp of ``I Spy″ and Phylicia Rashad of ``The Cosby Show,″ watched together as the shiny gold plaque went on display.

The 64-year-old actor-comedian paid tribute to two of his teachers at the Wister Elementary School in Philadelphia. Both recognized his talent and nudged him toward show business, he said.

Teacher Mary Forchic told him that ``you should become either a lawyer or an actor because you lie so well,″ said Cosby, who joins the late Milton Berle and Sid Caesar on NBC’s walk.

``Thank you for remembering me,″ he said. ``I’m also happy to be accepting this trophy before I become incontinent.″
