COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) _ Rodney Elliott scored 22 points and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds Saturday as No. 20 Maryland routed North Carolina-Wilmington 74-36, giving coach Gary Williams his 150th victory with the Terrapins.

Williams, in his ninth season at Maryland (7-4), became the third-winningest coach in school history behind Lefty Driesell (348 wins in 17 seasons) and Bud Millikan (243 wins in 17 seasons).

Obinna Ekezie scored 14 points and Sarunas Jasikevicius 10 as Maryland won its 58th consecutive non-conference home game.

N.C.-Wilmington (5-6) needed a free throw from Victor Ebong with 3.8 seconds remaining to avoid its lowest point total ever.

Elliott made 7 of 12 shots, including a pair of 3-pointers. He scored eight points during a 16-6 run midway through the second half that gave the Terrapins a 67-27 lead.

Oleg Kojenets scored 10 points for the Seahawks, who shot 22.7 percent (15-for-66) from the field.

Elliott had 12 points and 10 rebounds by halftime as Maryland led 39-14. The Terrapins trailed 9-8 with 15:38 remaining but closed the half with a 31-5 run.

North Carolina-Wilmington missed 18 of its final 19 field goals in shooting 17 percent (6-for-34) during the first half.
