HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP Ryan powers Stratford over New Fairfield

STRATFORD — Jack Ryan scored a game-high 19 points and Preston Williams posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead Stratford over New Fairfield, 60-48, in a SWC boys basketball game Thursday night.

Mike August added 16 points for the Red Devils, who improved to 6-4, while Sean Jamieson scored 11 points in the loss for the Rebels (2-8).
