James Reindl News Editor for Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (AP) _ James Reindl, a newsman in the Detroit bureau of The Associated Press, has been named AP news editor for Wisconsin, Milwaukee Chief of Bureau Richard P. Spratling has announced.

Reindl succeeds Robert O’Meara, who has been named state enterprise editor, a new position.

Reindl, 30, is a native of Wyandotte, Mich., and a graduate of Central Michigan University. He holds a master’s degree from Ohio State University, where he was a Kiplinger Fellow.

Reindl joined the AP at Detroit in 1983. He previously worked four years as a reporter at the Muskegon (Mich.) Chronicle.
