The Cast of Beatlemania: A true tribute to The Fab Four

December 22, 2018

“What would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me? Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song. I will try not to sing out of key.”

Well, you won’t have to worry about anything being off key when The Cast of Beatlemania comes to Hartford’s Infinity Music Hall. This band — featuring former members of the Broadway production — will rock the venue on Saturday, Jan. 5.

The Cast of Beatlemania will perform a slew of hits by The Beatles. Maybe even the tune those lyrics are from, about getting by “With a Little Help From My Friends.” Basically, they recreate the sights and sounds of The Fab Four, bringing back all kinds of good memories. So get ready to “Twist and Shout.”

According to the band’s website, moptops.com, the show covers The Beatles through different phases of their lives. “Three costume changes coincide with the changing music and times.”

The musicians in this show have performed across the United States and in more than 20 other countries, from Brazil to Japan.

Among the most celebrated rock groups, The Beatles dominated pop music from the early 1960s until they broke up in 1970. They were originally inspired by such legends as Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry.
