Florence firefighters respond to structure fire
FLORENCE, S.C. – At 2:03 p.m. Wednesday, Florence Fire Department firefighters and Florence Police officers responded to a structure fire at 718-720 S. Barringer St.
Florence Fire Department arrived on the scene to confirm fire and smoke coming from the vacant structure. The Fire Department deployed multiple handlines to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Florence Fire and Police Department.
The Florence Fire Department responded with three engine companies, a ladder company, rescue and a command officer. Florence County EMS, Windy Hill Fire and Howe Springs also responded to the incident. No injuries were reported.
