Beaver Dam man taken into custody after possible gun incident
A 40-year-old Beaver Dam man is in custody after allegedly putting a handgun up to the head of another man this morning.
According to the Beaver Dam Police Department, the police were dispatched to the 100 block of Lake Crest Drive on Friday at 5:36 a.m. for the report of the incident. The 40-year-old fled the scene before the police arrived but was taken into custody a short time later.
Policee searched for the handgun, but did not locate it. Beaver Dam Police Chief John Kreuziger said that the investigation continues to find out if the handgun was used in the incident.
The 40-year-old was transported to Dodge County Jail and charged with disorderly conduct.
