New coffee shop to open in Boardwalk on Broadway Thursday
It’s back to the daily grind for Press Coffee this week. Owner Natalie Nazarewicz-Holbrook said she and her husband, Bronson Holbrook, will start brewing at 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
Press has been offline for the past 10 months since a dispute with their former landlord forced the business from its shop in Alta Vista. Press has been relocated to a glass and steel building with a sunny atrium feel at 4035 Broadway in the Boardwalk on Broadway shopping center.
While the space is very different from the century-old carriage house Press previously occupied, Nazarewicz-Holbrook said customers will recognize many of the furnishings and decorations of the former Press iteration.
“I’m still pinching myself,” Nazarewicz-Holbrook said. “Its an architectural dream of a building. I think we really brought out its potential.”
In addition to a wide range of coffee-based drinks, Press will serve sweet and savory nibbles from The Bread Box, Bakery Lorraine and others. More at presscoffeesa.com or Facebook: @ilovecoffeeinsatx.
