FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) _ Michi Atkins scored 28 points to help Texas Tech come back from an 11-point halftime deficit and defeat Colorado State 91-79 Saturday night in the Rocky Mountain Invitational.

Colorado State's Becky Hammon scored 21 points in the first half to lead the Rams to a 47-36 lead at the intermission.

The Lady Raiders shot 60 percent from the field in the second half to rally past the Rams, who shot only 36 percent after halftime.

Colorado State's Hammon was held to six points in the second half for 27 points total. Teammate Teressa James scored 15 points and snared 11 rebounds. Wendy Wormal had 12 points and Brenda Brunner scored 11.

Atkins was named the tournament's most valuable player.

Other Texas Tech players scoring in double figures were Alicia Thompson with 22 and Rene Hanebutt with 14.
