MONTANA REDISTRICTING COMMISSION

HELENA _ Montana Supreme Court justices are meeting about the appointment of the fifth and final member of the state’s redistricting commission. The high court will meet Tuesday after the two Democratic and two Republican members couldn’t agree on a chairman for the panel that will redraw the state’s legislative map after the 2020 census. GLACIER AVALANCHE-CYCLISTS STRANDED

WEST GLACIER _ Thirteen bicyclists were stranded for about eight hours by a rock slide and an avalanche on the scenic Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Park officials said the cyclists were cold but otherwise unharmed. SENT: 130 words. Pursuing video.

RECORD BIGHORN-TRIBAL HARVEST

BOISE, Idaho _ The Idaho Department of Fish and Game won’t recognize as a state record a trophy bighorn sheep killed by a Nez Perce Tribe member the agency says was taken outside its hunting regulations. But the Boone and Crockett Club not only recognizes the Rocky Mountain bighorn killed by Gary Sublett in 2016, it has invited him to its annual awards ceremony this summer in Missouri.
