Crocs: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

NIWOT, Colo. (AP) _ Crocs Inc. (CROX) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $10.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Niwot, Colorado-based company said it had net income of 7 cents.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 2 cents per share.

The footwear company posted revenue of $261.1 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in December, Crocs said it expects revenue in the range of $195 million to $205 million. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $244.3 million.

The company expects full-year revenue of $1.02 billion.

Crocs shares have increased 70 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
