WESTFORD, Mass. (AP) — The body of a missing teen has been found in the water of a Massachusetts quarry.
Authorities say the 17-year-old, who they have not identified, was found in the quarry in Westford on Tuesday afternoon.
He and three friends had trespassed on private property and gone swimming. A dive team from New Hampshire located his body in 30 feet of water. Emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures shortly before the teen was pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected.
The case has been referred to the medical examiner’s office.
Police say the quarry was featured in the 2013 Adam Sandler movie “Grown Ups 2.”
