Teens Accused of Prostituting Girl
DETROIT (AP) _ Two teen-age girls were accused of allegedly prostituting a 12-year-old girl to male students at a Detroit high school, officials said.
The Cooley High School girls, ages 14 and 15, were charged as adults with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, said Nancy Diehl, deputy chief and director of the Wayne County Child and Family Abuse Bureau.
They are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
Diehl said a 17-year-old boy has been charged as an adult with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Diehl said authorities are trying to identify and locate the other parties involved.
The 12-year-old girl, described as mentally impaired, is a temporary ward of the court and was placed with a private agency.
