LORETTO, Pa. (AP) _ Senior guard Curtis Aiken scored a career-high 32 points to spark No. 12 Pittsburgh to a 108-69 victory over St. Francis in college basketball Wednesday night.

Aiken had 21 points in the first half as the Panthers cruised to a 55-29 lead.

With Pitt holding a 51-31 edge in rebounding, the closest the Red Flash came in the second half was within 68-44, at the 14:45 mark.

Demetreus Gore added 20 points, Tico Cooper 18 and Jerome Lane had 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Panthers.

Lamont Harris led St. Francis with 23 points. Bob Gullickson and Greg Jacobs added 13 and 12, respectively.

The Panthers, under first-year Coach Paul Evans raised their record to 2-0, while St. Francis dropped to 1-1.
