Riverpoint Arts Festival set for Saturday
NORFOLK - As you enjoy Oktoberfest activities and the Lion’s Club parade, make sure you head over to the Norfolk Arts Center for the Riverpoint Arts Festival.
Executive Director Denice Hansen says the festival includes an open-air arts and crafts market featuring regional creators, free community art projects, and an indoor children’s festival.
Hansen says kids can take part in the free activities outside after the parade concludes.
“Then inside you can get a $5 wristband for the kids and that will get you into the pumpkin painting room. We’ve got clowns doing face painting, balloon animals, and glitter tattoos. In our classroom we are going to have a slime make-and-take” Hansen said.
She says the artist booths will return this year featuring a variety of unique items for sale.
It’s set for Saturday 10 to 3 at the Norfolk Arts Center.
