Daniel H. Beegan Named Milwaukee News Editor
MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Daniel H. Beegan, a New England regional reporter for The Associated Press in Washington, D.C., has been named AP news editor in Milwaukee.
Beegan, 35, succeeds Jim Reindl, who was appointed news editor in Chicago.
Beegan joined the AP in 1974 in Montpelier, Vt., and also worked in AP bureaus in Augusta, Maine, Indianapolis, and Boston. He has worked in Washington since 1983 covering news of special interest to New England.
A native of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Beegan worked for the Burlington (Vt.) Free-Press and the Caledonian-Record in St. Johnsbury before joining the AP.
