WHS forensics team competes in Sun Prairie
The Watertown High School forensics team attended the Sun Prairie tournament Saturday. Overall, the team placed third in the small team division.
A number of students advanced to the final round. Gwen Woerishoefer and Tia Zimmerman earned second place in play acting. Adelle Mulligan took fifth place in solo serious acting. Millie Groeler was a finalist in impromptu speaking. Emma Lemke earned top novice competitor in demonstration speaking.
On Saturday, the team will compete at the Beaver Dam tournament.
“Coaches Hillary Lobenstein and Jennifer Pennington are extremely proud of the team’s performance this season,” stated a media release from the team.
