E.G. FLOYD, 94, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in Huntington Heath and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington, W.Va. He was born September 19, 1924, in Glenville, W.Va., son of the late John and Dorotha Frame Floyd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Waitman, Lester and Clark Floyd; two sisters, Genevieve Gumm and Virginia Floyd. He was retired owner of Floyd’s Body Shop in Huntington, W.Va., after 44 years of service. He was a WWII Army veteran and was of Protestant faith. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Rhodes Floyd; one son, Jim Floyd of Chesapeake, Ohio; two grandchildren, Shawn Floyd and Chriscinda Withrow; five great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Brylee, Kingston, Hoyt and Collier. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va.
