Scottsbluff Police Department
Officers checked out a vehicle parked in a lot in the 400 block of West 27th Street. After further investigation, a search of the vehicle was initiated after Gering Police K9 alerted on the vehicle and its contents. Police seized a firearm, ammunition, and various drug contraband was located. No arrests or citations were noted.
1:19 a.m. — An officer observed a vehicle cross over the center line nearly into oncoming traffic in the 1800 block of Broadway. a traffic stop was initiated and the driver was contacted. Mallory McCormick, 24, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, two counts of refusal to submit to a chemical test, possession of an open alcohol container, and failure to possess license on person.
8:43 p.m. — In the 300 block of West 19th Street, officers took a report of a domestic assault on a pregnant woman. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was not found.
11:05 p.m. — In the 3300 block of Avenue I, an officer observed Melissa Reed, 41, operating a vehicle. A warrant for her arrest was confirmed and she was taken into custody.
1:17 a.m. — Officers were called to Regional West Medical Center for the report of a possible disturbance. Following an investigation Katrina Fulk, 21, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
1:10 p.m. — Scottsbluff Police were dispatched to a residence in the 3000 block of 18th Avenue regarding a report of a protection order violation. Adam Chavez, 35, on a charge of protection order violation.
3:20 p.m. — At the Scottsbluff Police Department (1801 Ave. B), Cadence McCoy, 20, turned himself in on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.
4:52 p.m. — Officers responded to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of East 25th Street.
10:19 a.m. — Scottsbluff Police were dispatched 23 Club Baseball Fields in reference to a vandalism in the womens’ restroom.
11:01 a.m. —At Bluffs Middle School (27 E. 23rd St.), an officer investigated a report that a student assaulted another student during lunch. After further investigation, a male juvenile was cited on a charge of assault.
6:33 p.m. — At Bluffs Middle School (27 E. 23rd St.) a staff member reported that a student was suspected to have marijuana in his backpack. After further investigation, a male juvenile was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana.
6:22 p.m. — An officer responded to Dollar General (818 E. Overland) in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Upon further investigation, Kelli Thomas-Richter, 48, was cited on a charge of theft by shoplifting.
6:32 p.m. — Officers were dispatched to the Bluffs Middle School football stadium in reference to a suspicious male wearing a vest and carrying a gun. The man was identified and a report was forwarded to the county attorney’s office. Prosecution was declined.
7:57 p.m. — An officer investigated a report of theft by shoplifting that occurred at Menards, (2401 Delta Drive) on Nov. 12. No arrests or citations were noted in the media report.
