August 8, 2015

BOSTON (AP) — Boston police say they’ve found the driver and tractor-trailer truck involved in an accident that killed a bicyclist.

Police announced Friday night that they had located the driver and the truck that kept going after the accident, but didn’t elaborate. Authorities said the accident remained under investigation and no charges had been filed. The driver’s name wasn’t released.

Police say a woman in her 20s was hit while riding her bike at around 7 a.m. Friday at Beacon Street and Massachusetts Avenue. She was pronounced dead at a Boston hospital. Her name hasn’t been disclosed.

Authorities released surveillance video of the flatbed tractor-trailer after the accident in an effort to generate tips.

Investigators said they weren’t sure if the driver was aware that the truck had hit the bicyclist.
