CONSERVATION EASEMENT _ The Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust has completed its 100th conservation project. In partnership with The Conservation Fund, a conservation easement located in Sublette County was transferred to Stock Growers Land Trust earlier this month.

UW BUDGET _ The University of Wyoming would receive $17.4 million in new funding under the final supplemental budget bill that passed the state Legislature. The Laramie Boomerang reports that UW had originally asked for about $19.4 million in supplemental budget funding.

WELLHEAD FIRE _ Authorities say one person has been seriously burned after an explosion and fire in a building that houses a wellhead in southwest Wyoming. KSTU-TV in Salt Lake City reports that, according to Uinta County Fire and Ambulance, the incident occurred Saturday morning.

ESTONIA-WOLF RESCUE _ Estonian construction workers got the shock of their lives when they found out the animal they saved from an icy river was not a dog but a wolf. AP Photos.
