BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) _ The Buffalo Bills took advantage of a break in an unprecedented snowstorm Saturday to make an uneventful trip south to play the New York Jets.
``Everything went as if there wasn’t any snow,″ team spokesman Scott Berchtold said after the Bills landed in Newark, N.J. They play the Jets on Sunday at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
Fears involving the Bills’ ability to travel were raised after a lake-effect storm dumped nearly 7 feet of snow on the Buffalo region staring on Christmas Eve. The storm shifted south on Friday afternoon, allowing the city’s airport to reopen later in the day.
