Critics weigh in on Culinaria-UNESCO City of Gastronomy list of best San Antonio margaritas
When Culinaria joined the celebration of San Antonio’s UNESCO’s City of Gastronomy designation, it created three food trails marking the city’s iconic tacos, barbecue and margaritas, in partnership with the city’s World Heritage Office.
Just two problems: We didn’t agree with all their choices, and they didn’t tell you what to order when you got there. So we fixed that.
Their 10-stop Margarita Trail got it 80% right. I’ve offered a fix for that last 20%, along with a guide to the margaritas at each.
In the slideshow are my picks, using the San Antonio Food Trails as the springboard, for the best margaritas in San Antonio.
