Montague, Marsh Picked As Crew Chief

NEW YORK (AP) _ Ed Montague was picked Monday as crew chief for the AL championship series and Randy Marsh was selected for the NL championship.
Montague will be working his eighth LCS and his third in four seasons. He also was crew chief at the 2000 World Series. March will be working his fourth LCS.
Montague, a 27-year veteran, will be joined in the AL series between Minnesota and Anaheim by Mike Everitt (first base in Tuesday’s opener), Brian Gorman (second base), Larry Young (third base), Dana DeMuth (left field) and Ed Rapuano (right field).
At the NL series, which starts Wednesday, Marsh will be joined by Jeff Nelson (first base), Dale Scott (second base), Jeff Kellogg (third base), Tim Welke (left field) and Charlie Reliford (right field). Marsh is a 21-year veteran.
Kellogg, Reliford and Welke also worked in the LCS last year. Everitt, Gorman and Nelson will be working in the LCS for the first time.
