PROSECUTOR-ETHICS

PHOENIX _ A formal complaint filed by state attorney ethics watchdogs accuses a prosecutor of alleged professional misconduct, including leaking confidential material during Jodi Arias’ murder trial and sexually harassing a court reporter and female employees of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. _ RED LIGHT WRECK- SENTENCING: A man who ran a red light has been sentenced to the maximum 30 days in jail and put on probation for a year for causing a wreck that killed a woman whose death led to tougher penalties for some traffic offenses.

_ CONSUMER FRAUD-LAWSUIT: A California-based lender has been hit with a civil lawsuit in Arizona for allegedly swindling consumers out of millions of dollars through a deceptive loan program.

_ RECYCLED WATER OVERFLOW: The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality says recycled water that overflowed from a reclamation plant outside Phoenix is no longer being discharged into the Queen Creek wash.

_ INTERSTATE KIDNAPPING-SENTENCING: A third man has been sentenced to federal prison in Arizona in an interstate kidnapping case.

_ ALASKA-US-MEXICO BORDER: Alaska will send 10 National Guard members for aerial patrol operations along the U.S.-Mexico border.
