Nebraska wideout commit Jamie Nance excited about fit in Huskers’ offense
NU wide receiver commit Jamie Nance gives the Huskers a speed boost.
Nance, who this spring ran a 10.49-second 100 meters and 21.62-second 200 and won a state title in the long jump, joined host Mike’l Severe on “The Bottom Line” on Tuesday.
The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect discussed why he picked NU, his recruitment, the Nebraska-Oklahoma rivalry, goals for his senior season and much more.
“I see myself fitting in great (in Nebraska’s offense),” Nance said.
″(Wide receivers) Coach (Troy) Walters said you don’t just play one spot on the offense as a wide receiver, you get rotated around. ... That’s just another reason I picked it, because that’s what we do. Sometimes I play slot, sometimes my coach throws me left side solo and has me pick a route. ... I’m truly a wideout — I can burn people.”
