NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Justin Martini connected with Dante Bryant on two touchdown passes as Southeastern Missouri capitalized on five miscues for a 24-21 victory over Tennessee State Saturday.

Southeastern Missouri (3-8, 3-5 Ohio Valley Conference) never trailed and took a 24-7 lead into halftime as Martini threw both his TD passes in the first half. His second, a 16-yarder to Bryant, came one play after Tennessee State (4-7, 3-5) fumbled a punt.

The Tigers closed within 24-21 with two third-quarter touchdowns on a 12-yard run by Calvin Davenport and a 17-yarder by Lamarr Wallace. But Southeast Missouri shut them down in the fourth quarter.

Tennessee State outgained Southeastern Missouri 380 yards to 162, but lost five key turnovers.
