March 31, 2019

Saturday was a time to have fun during the 103rd Aiken Horse Show in Hitchcock Woods.

The Costume Class provided competitors the opportunity to get creative, and some went all out in an effort to earn the top prize.

The winner was a large group with a Wizard of Oz theme from Rick and Cathy Cram’s Progressive Show Jumping.

Finishing second was another big group with a Winnie-the-Pooh and Hundred Acre Wood theme.

Among the others entered were portrayers of Peppa Pig, Harry Potter and Mary Poppins.

The Horse Show ends its three-day run today. Classes begin at 9 a.m.

There is no admission charge, but people who drive to the event must pay a fee of $10 per vehicle to park.
