Sanders holds energy resource fair and town meeting
RANDOLPH, Vt. (AP) — Independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is hoping to help Vermonters determine how to make their homes, businesses and towns more energy efficient by holding an energy resource fair and town meeting.
The event takes place Saturday at Vermont Technical College in Randolph from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It includes an exhibitors’ fair, workshops and a keynote address and panel discussion.
Workshop topics include what you need to know about going solar; weatherization and energy efficiency options; modern wood heating; and financing and incentives for energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Lunch is provided. Entrance is on a first-come first-serve basis.
