KENNER, La. (AP) — Authorities say two people were injured in a shooting that stemmed from an argument inside a city-run gym.

Nola.com/The Times-Picayune reports Kenner police Lt. Brian McGregor says authorities were called to investigate a report of two people shot Monday. When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg and a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound to the right arm. Authorities say both victims are expected to be treated and released from a hospital.

McGregor says investigators are trying to pinpoint the location of the shooting, but detectives believed the argument that led to gunfire began inside Woodward Gym. A person was spotted running through a parking lot, and police say that person dropped a green bag containing a gun.

Authorities are investigating.
