BOSTON (AP) _ Terry Kringe scored a career-high 17 points to lead Northeastern to a 57-54 upset of Drexel in America East action Friday.

Kringe hit one of two free throws with six seconds to go for the Huskies (3-10, 2-3 America East) for the three-point edge. Jeff Myers' three-point shot missed at the buzzer.

The Dragons (8-5, 5-1) led 27-25 at the half.

A Kringe three-pointer to open the second-half put the Huskies ahead at 28-27, but a Joe Linderman lay-in seconds later put the Dragons back on top.

Drexel held the narrow lead for the next nine minutes, but a Kirk Salesman three-pointer put NU back ahead 41-39 with 9:55 remaining.

The teams traded baskets four more times before a Ty Mack basket gave the Huskies a 48-47 advantage, marking the game's final lead change.

Mack added 11 points and nine rebounds for Northeastern, followed by Lin Lattimore with nine points.

Jeff Myers and Chuck Guittar added 12 and 11 points for Drexel respectively.
