Susan Kurth, 65, Juneau
Susan Ann Kurth, 65, passed away at Beaver Dam Community Hospital in Beaver Dam on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018.
Susan was born Jan. 4, 1953, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Reinhard and Elda (Ruenger, Ketelhohn) Kurth. She went to school in Fox Lake and Beaver Dam. Susan resided with her parents until 1989 when she went to live at Shelter Village in Ripon. She left Shelter Village to live at Ross Adult Family Home in Elkhorn and then moved with them to Fall River. In December she moved to Clearview in Juneau.
Susan will be sadly missed and mourned by her siblings, Lois James of Nevada, Merle (Mary) Ketelhohn of Mayville, June Sumnicht of Rubicon, Claudette (Harold) Spolum of Greenfield, Adrian (Mary) Kurth of Brown Deer, John (Jo) Kurth of Neenah, and Nancy North of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joanne (Junior) Rau; three brothers, Lawrence, Leslie (Evon) and Bill; her brothers-in-law, Bob James and Junior Sumnicht; and two nephews, Mark and Michael.
The family extends a thank you to all who have cared for Susan over the years and made her life such a happy one.
A funeral service will be held at Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home in Fox Lake on Friday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends may call on the family Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will immediately follow the funeral at Robert W. Ginther American Legion Post 521 in Fox Lake. The committal service will be held in Highland Memory Garden, town of Trenton.
