Reptile Event Planned At River Common

WILKES-BARRE — Snakes and turtles are the star of the “Reptiles of the Watershed” event that will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 Monday night at the Wilkes-Barre River Common amphitheater. Jeannie Carl, a naturalist at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center, will bring live snakes, a turtle, snake and turtle skins and jarred specimens to the event, which is sponsored by the Riverfront Parks Committee.
