Nebraska now ranked sixth while Creighton ninth in new volleyball rankings
The Nebraska volleyball team moved up from eighth to sixth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.
They won two home matches in the last week after beating Penn State last Friday 3-2 and Rutgers 3-0 on Saturday. The 18-6 Huskers return to action on Wednesday night when they visit Iowa. The 22-4 Creighton Bluejays remain ninth in the rankings after winning two road matches last weekend. They beat St. John’s 3-0 last Friday and Seton Hall 3-0 on Saturday. The Bluejays return to action on Friday when they host Georgetown. BYU remains first followed by Stanford, Minnesota, Illinois, and Texas.
