‘Blue Lives Matter’ march in Philly spurs counterprotest, arrests

A sparsely attended “Blue Lives Matter” march in Center City on Saturday led to a counterprotest, with police arresting several of the counterprotesters.

WHYY reported that the counterprotesters were part of the group Antifa, which is short for antifascist. They had gathered at City Hall and begun to disrupt traffic as the marchers for “Blue Lives Matter” walked from Independence Hall toward Logan Square.
