ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) _ Teen-ager Roger Rasheed upset fellow Australian Carl Limberger 7-6, 4-6, 7-6 Thursday in the second round of the $93,400 South Australian Open Tennis championships.
Rasheed, No. 565 in the world, said he had gambled on his fitness by entering the tournament. He missed three months of play due to a back injury.
American Bud Schultz also advanced to the final eight with a 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3 win over Australian Simon Youl.
