FATAL CRASH-TEXTING DRIVER — A Cedar Rapids woman who was texting when her car collided with another vehicle has been given two years in prison.

CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CONVICTION — An eastern Iowa man has been given 50 years in prison for producing child pornography involving a prepubescent child and for trading child pornography.

SCHOOL FIRE — Authorities say a fire broke out at a school building in northwest Iowa about an hour after classes were done for the day.
