The Shack relocates near Westover Hills
The Shack has been serving up burgers, hot dogs, fruit cups and other treats since 2014, but now it’s doing so in a newly constructed space that provides more room and added polish.
The restaurant has been operating in the new location off NW Loop 410 by Westover Hills for about six weeks, moving from a former gas station on Babcock Road that now does business as Teddy’s B’s. Plans to sell beer and add an outdoor deck with seating are still in the works.
There is a lot of meat to The Shack menu. Patrons can choose from a list of 13 different hot dogs with a litany of toppings like grilled barbecue pineapple, hot Cheetos, grilled chorizo, smoked brisket, chili and roasted corn.
