Wet weather on tap for Thursday
Although temperatures will be nice and mild for the next several days, rain chances may keep you indoors for the remainder of the work week.
Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel said Wednesday evening that rain is expected to begin during the overnight hours Thursday and stretch into the morning commute.
According to meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner, although Thursday won’t be a washout, toting an umbrella is a great idea. Rain should stop by midday, and temperatures will remain mild, in the upper 50s, before they drop slightly for Friday.
Friday will be the most “miserable” day of the week, with a high of 52 degrees and plenty of rain. An 80 percent chance of rain will linger throughout the day.
The good news is the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will both be sunny and dry with highs in the mid 60s. It should be a beautiful weekend to be outside.
