Lowell downs Elkton in North Douglas Winter Invitational

DRAIN — Jason Stratis scored 19 points and Lowell dominated the Elkton boys in rebounding en route to a 54-36 win on Saturday in the North Douglas Winter Invitational.

Bryce Pickett had 16 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double for the Red Devils (3-4), who outrebounded the Elks 41-14.

Austin Luzier led Elkton (2-6) with eight points and five assists. Trystn Woody and Jaydn Woody each added six points.

“We had difficulty with their size,” said Elkton coach Gary Trout. “And they shot better than us.”

The Elks are scheduled to play in the McKenzie Hoops Classic, beginning Dec. 27.
