2nd NZ-West Indies ODI delayed by rain
NAPIER, New Zealand (AP) — Heavy rain on Sunday has delayed the start of the second one-day cricket international between New Zealand and the West Indies at McLean Park.
The pitch remained covered when the toss was due to be made at 1.30pm and, with steady rain falling, no time has been set to attempt to start play.
The West Indies lead the five-match series 1-0 after winning the first match at Eden Park by two wickets; replying with 157-8 to New Zealand’s 156.
The third match in the series is due to be played at Queenstown on Wednesday.
