Annual utility update meeting

The Odessa District of TxDOT has scheduled its annual utility coordination update meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 25 at the Odessa District Headquarters, 3901 E. Highway 80.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide utility owners and operators an update on TxDOT’s four-year construction plan that might affect utility installations that are on or near TxDOT’s right of way. The meeting is a way to let utility owners understand what projects are coming so they can budget for any expenses they may incur when moving utilities that are in conflict with TxDOT plans.

TxDOT is inviting companies with materials in or on TxDOT right of way to attend and discuss potential coordination needs related to the projects.
