Francesco Molinari leads, Tiger Woods in contention at the Masters
A bogey-free round of 66 has Francesco Molinari atop the Masters leaderboard through 54 holes on Saturday. The 2018 Open Champion has now gone 42 consecutive holes without a bogey and leads by two strokes over Tiger Woods and Tony Finau entering Sunday’s final round.
Woods birdied three of his final six holes and his third round 67 will have him in the final group on Sunday as he looks to win his 15th major title and his first since the 2008 US Open.
Finau was four shots behind entering the third round but shot a sensational 8-under par 64 to vault into contention.
Woods, Molinari, and Finau will tee off at 9:20 a.m. Sunday as tournament officials elected to move up the final round tee times for the first time in Masters history due to potential inclement weather in the Augusta area Sunday afternoon.
