Steven T. Wroblewski, 65, of Bourbonnais, passed away Saturday (Jan. 5, 2019) at the University of Chicago Hospital.
He was born Nov. 17, 1953, in Blue Island, the son of Richard and Patricia (Ohlendorf) Wroblewski. Steven married Susan T. Kubicki on June 26, 1976, in Blue Island.
Steven was a graduate of Marist High School. He received his bachelor of science degree from Lewis University and his master’s degree from Loyola University. Steven was a procurement manager for CSL Behring for 34 years. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, NASCAR racing, and tailgating at the Illini football games. He loved and took care of his children and grandchildren. Steven enjoyed vacationing with his family.
Steven was a parishioner of Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Wroblewski, of Bourbonnais; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Rebecca and John Snipes, of Bourbonnais, and Kristin and Tom Weaver, of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, Abigail Snipes, Lucas Snipes and Owen Snipes; one sister, Kerry Coffman, of Orland Park; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ray and Jackie Wroblewski, of Kankakee, Chris and Kim Wroblewski, of Bourbonnais, and Janet Kemper, of Midlothian; one uncle, John Ohlendorf, of Bourbonnais; and several nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. The Rev. Dan Lydon will celebrate the Mass.
