Greater Huntington Walks announces photo contest winners

HUNTINGTON- Greater Huntington Walks has announced the winners of its October photo contest sponsored by Robert’s Running & Walking Shop. The winners are:

First Place: Danielle Lobo

Second Place: David Specht

Third Place: Lynne Taylor

Participants in Greater Huntington Walks were encouraged to take a photo of a person, place or thing along their walking route during the month of October and submit it for a chance to win a Robert’s gift certificate.

Prizes included first place receiving a $150 gift certificate, second place was awarded $100 gift certificate and the third place contestant received a $50 gift certificate.

The mission of Greater Huntington Walks is for the Greater Huntington area to be viewed as a healthy and active community for people to live, work and visit. It aims to promote and enhance the health of people by encouraging walking and activity and working together to achieve a publicly-stated goal.
