Mental health, crime, subject of gathering
LEBANON, N.H. (AP) — Chief law enforcement and judicial officials from New Hampshire and Vermont are going to discuss mental health issues and criminal behavior at a gathering at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
The focus of the event Tuesday will be on how law enforcement and the courts can help change the conversation about mental health when mental health issues result in criminal behavior.
Featured speakers include Vermont Attorney General T.J. Donovan; New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald; Vermont Supreme Court Chief Justice Paul Reiber; and New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Lynn.
The presentation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
