LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) _ Trendell Williams threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Steve Danzy with 53 seconds remaining Saturday night to rally Fullerton State to a 14-10 victory over Southwestern Louisiana.

Fullerton (2-5) snapped a 19-game road losing streak. The Titans had not won on the road since their 1989 season finale, losing nine road games in 1990, seven in 1991 and three this season.

Southwestern, playing without seven starters due to suspension or injury, fell to 2-5 with its third consecutive loss and its first loss at home this season.

Danny Pasquil ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter for Fullerton's other touchdown.

Southwestern scored all of its points in the second period on a 40-yard field goal by Richie Cunningham and a 7-yard run by Reggie Mayes with 16 seconds left in the half.

The teams fumbled 11 times. Fullerton lost three of its seven fumbles, Southwestern lost two of four.
