North Middlesex Rallies Past Littleton
The North Middlesex Regional boys’ soccer team erased an early deficit en route to a 3-1 victory over Littleton at home on Thursday.
Alban Baboci scored twice for the Patriots, including on a penalty kick to break a 1-all tie.
North Middlesex’s Owen Marr also scored.
North Middlesex (3-2-1) also received tremendous play from Wesley Call, John Charney and Jake Talmer.
The Patriots return to action Friday afternoon, traveling to Clinton to face the Gaels.

Samantha Borges and Maddie Wilson scored for Curry as the Falcons fell to 2-3-1.
Sarah Hemmings made 9 saves in a losing effort.
Goalkeeper Ethan Winer turned away a half dozen shots for the Chieftains (1-3).

Caleigh Millett notched a hat trick and Kelsey Dowd potted a pair of goals for the Bulldogs. Gabrielle Oliva (3 assists), Ashley Femino (2 assists), Alissa Gaulin and Kati Moran also scored.
Freshman Abigail Kirrane earned the shutout.
Alyssa Madden scored twice and Ashley McElrone added a single marker for the Spartans (5-0).
Becca Lashua scored a pair of goals and Yessinia Duran and Yessica Duran each added single tallies in the win.
Primo Dellasanta, Brad Blessington and Jake Berkio all posted 2-over 37s at Westminster Country Club to lead the Spartans (6-0-1).

Junior David Gardiner led the Bernardians (1-1), carding a 4-over 40 at Wachusett Country Club.
Set scores were 25-21, 25-21 and 25-23 in favor of the Tomahawks.
Brie Donahue and Marissa Cloutier each had 4 digs and Lexi Richard had 3 blocks for the Chieftains (4-2).

Boys’ cross country
Michael Alleva led the Blue Knights, finishing second on the 3.1-mile course with a time of 18:59. Benjamin Sweet was fifth overall in the loss with a time of 21:40.
Littleton’s Alex Johnson won the meet with a run of 18:54.
North Middlesex 44
Edward McCarthy (19:54) was the top finisher for North Middlesex, claiming sixth.
Girls’ cross country
The visiting Tigers took the first four spots, with Sarah Roffman (19:59), Kaitlyn Roffman (20:27), McKensie Clark (21:11) and Riley Clark (21:15) finishing before any Lunenburg runners.
Lauren Long (fifth, 21:21), Abby Rodriquez (sixth, 23:23) and Grace Roy (eighth, 23:58) all had strong showings for the Blue Knights.
North Middlesex 26
Riley Maskalenko (21:34) and Morgan Nesbit (22:00) took second and third, respectively, for the Patriots.
