Longmont Police Notes: Protection Order Violation
Longmont police were dispatched about 5:45 a.m. to the 1600 block of Main Street on a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found a violation of a protection order was committed. The case remains open.
Longmont officers received a report Friday of a theft from an at-risk elderly woman. The theft was an internet scam and most likely the suspects are out of state/out of country. This report is a courtesy report for the Longmont resident victim.
Longmont police made a traffic stop Friday in the 1300 block of Collyer Street. A man was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and open containers of marijuana in a vehicle. The case was cleared by arrest.
At about 2 a.m. Friday , Longmont officers responded to the 2200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard on the report of a hit-and-run accident. The case will be closed due to lack of suspect information.
Longmont police responded to the 300 block of Lashley Street in connection with an attempt to locate a subject with an active warrant. Police located the subject, who was arrested without incident. The case is cleared by arrest.
Officers responded about 2:30 p.m. Friday to a report of a juvenile male with active warrants for his arrest. Upon arrival, he was contacted and arrested without incident on the warrant.
