County to reopen permanent assessor’s office in Bullhead City
KINGMAN — The Mohave County Assessor’s Office will open a permanent office in Bullhead City starting Monday to serve property taxpayers in Bullhead City without them needing to travel to the county administration building in Kingman.
The assessor’s office in Bullhead City is at 1130 Hancock Road and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday with the window being closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m., Mohave County Assessor Kristi Blair said.
Valerie Medina will be on staff at the Bullhead City recorder’s office to record all documents except maps, Blair added.
The permanent treasurer’s offices in Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City were closed in 2008 to save money. By law, the treasurer’s office must accept cash as well as personal checks and credit cards at its offices. The treasurer’s office was later reopened on a temporary basis in April and October in Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City for those residents to pay their property tax bills.
